# Pet Welcome Box — full agent guide

Gift inspiration tool for pet shopping lists and first-30-days pet welcome boxes. Architecture: ownerUrl + shopUrl, multi-marketplace curated buy links and recommendation lists.

## Product
Warm pet welcome kits / shopping lists for the first 30 days. Fields: petName (optional), species (dog|cat|other), breed?, sizeBand (toy|small|medium|large|xl), stage? (puppy|kitten|adult|senior), budgetBand, kitCategories/interests.

Use cases: new puppy checklist, new kitten kit, dog/cat recommendation list, pet welcome box gift inspiration.

## Roles
- ownerUrl — owner builds the welcome box / shopping list
- shopUrl — shopper/gifter buys

## Search
`rewritePetQuery` / `buildPetSearchUrl` append species/size/stage/category cues by locale (sv/en/de/fr/es/…). Search is primary; catalog.json holds curated starters with real amazon.se ASINs (150–200+).

## Marketplace
**Every agent call must include marketplace + locale.** DEFAULT may be amazon.se for SE demos, but never assume a single storefront.

## Tracking tags
amazon.se is configured with Associates tag sw-petbox-21 (NEXT_PUBLIC_AMAZON_TAGS_JSON). Other storefronts may omit ?tag= until real IDs are set. Never invent petwelcomebox-* placeholders or reuse tags from other verticals. Prefer buyUrl / trackingTag in agent responses.

UI may show a short “may earn from qualifying purchases” disclosure.
